Draped in black and gold, Pour Homme Noir Amber EDP by Issey Miyake for men is an expansion of their men’s edition perfume line merging essences from the Middle East into a contemporary setting that is absolutely unconventional and powerful in impact. The flacon inspired by simplicity, keeps its design simple with the bold colors setting a sensual mood. Created and signed by perfumer Christopher Raynaud, this new and exciting edition, launched in 2016 comes with three distinct layers of star perfumery ingredients.
The top layer uses a persistent and dominating saffron essence laid lightly on a bed of perky spices like cinnamon, coriander and a pinch of nutmeg.
For the heart layer, the spicy scent is converted to a rubber base using fresh leather as a prime ingredient. Apart from this the presence of papyrus, cedar and vetiver are quite well apprehended in this. The very base of the layer would start off in tonka beans with amber and vanilla creating a strong regal aroma as a finishing note.
